Ms. Mitchell is the past CEO of Mortgage Choice Limited, a financial services organization listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). Over a 35-year career, she has held several positions of increasing seniority in finance, concentrated primarily in financial services. Ms. Mitchell began her career in audit assurance with KPMG and is qualified as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Her most recent financial position was as CFO of Mortgage Choice before assuming the CEO role.
She is a local girl born in Fort Worth. She graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts and earned her MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. She serves on the boards of three local charities: Gill Children’s Services, Educational First Steps, and The Women’s Center.
