Elizabeth Cleveland Wakefield serves as a Fiduciary Officer for Lone Oak Trust Company in Houston, Texas. A licensed attorney, her previous experience includes years with a global, AM100 law firm where she led a team in support of clients ranging from individuals and family businesses to Fortune Global 100 corporations. Her focus on client service, problem solving, and strategic planning led her to trust management and advisory work. Elizabeth was recognized by Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch in both 2023 and 2024. She was also named one of Houston Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business in 2023.
Elizabeth graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South with a degree in Political Science where she was a Wilkins Academic Merit Scholar. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center. She is a member of the Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Law section of the Texas Bar Association.
Elizabeth lives in Houston, Texas with her husband and daughter, both proud native Houstonians. She serves on the Board of the Gulf Coast Literary Journal and enjoys supporting her daughter’s school and local art organizations.
